Library and Instructional Technology Curriculum

Lower School

Library teachers work in collaboration with classroom teachers on integration of the information literacy goals with classroom content. A curriculum for technology literacy exists for grades three through six.

Middle School

The goal of the Library and Instructional Technology Department is to provide students with the tools to navigate and make sense of the vast number of information resources available to them, utilize technology to accomplish their academic and personal goals, appreciate a wide range of literature in different forms and of different cultural origins, and instill a sense of the ethical use of information and technology.

Upper School

In the Upper School instruction in research skills and reference support is provided as needed. The librarian and technology teacher are available for collaborative work with classroom teachers at any grade level.
